About The Position
The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN. The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has opened a new state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center. This 10 OR suite ASC is the largest in the state of Tennessee. We have been Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We are seeking highly skilled individuals who seek to advance their careers in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent.
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Surgical Technologist Certification (Required)
Responsibilities
- Perform technical responsibilities relative to assisting physicians with the instrumentation of surgical intervention.
- Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments.
- Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
