This is a contract position for a Certified Surgical Technologist specializing in Urology within the Main Operating Room. The role involves providing surgical support in a high-paced environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduated from an CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.
- Three years of experience required.
- BLS required.
- Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
- Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technologist services in the Main Operating Room, specializing in Urology.
- Pass instruments during surgical procedures.
- Lift heavy instrument sets.
- Assist surgical teams as needed.
