About The Position
The Certified Surgical Tech works in the Leesburg Hospital Main OR and provides an aseptic environment within the perioperative arena under the direction of the Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, and RNs. Surgical conscience is of the utmost importance. The role requires familiarity with the basics of routine surgical and diagnostic cases. This is a part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week. Day hours are flexible, Monday through Friday. The position requires on-call coverage, and the employee must be able to report to the hospital within a 30-minute call window. The work location is Leesburg, Florida.
Requirements
- Post-high-school special training.
- Surgical Technology Certification or an LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Responsibilities
