About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join its Main OR team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, with variable FTE options and 9- or 12-hour shifts available. The role includes a holiday rotation of 1–2 holidays per year.

The Surgical Tech primarily works in the scrub role, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies. The position also assists physicians as a scrub person according to prescribed standards and assists the RN with circulating duties as directed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• Obtain Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire.
• Hold current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification, including hands-on learning, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians as a scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Assist the RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Primarily perform in the scrub role, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
