About The Position

Sets up the operating room by arranging sterile drapes, solutions, and both sterile and non-sterile equipment to ensure full procedural readiness. Assists surgical teams with preparing, safely transporting, positioning, and draping patients prior to procedures. Anticipates surgical needs and passes requested instruments, sponges, and supplies to the surgeon seamlessly during operations. Maintains a clean, organized field while tracking all surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps to ensure accurate counts throughout the procedure.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3+ years CST experience
3+ years experience in spine surgery procedures required for this role
