About The Position

The role facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

This is a full-time evening position at CDH, scheduled for 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE). The listed hourly compensation range is $24.29 to $36.44.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Obtain Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within twelve months of hire.
• Current CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies; ensure equipment and instruments are available and functional.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to the physician during surgery and continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process specimens, when required, for delivery to the laboratory.
