About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Tech at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position supports the surgical team in delivering patient care across a variety of settings. Under the supervision of licensed surgical staff, the Surgical Tech helps prepare surgical areas, manage instruments and supplies, and maintain sterile techniques. The role is suitable for individuals beginning careers in surgical services or transitioning from other clinical or patient-care roles. The scheduled shift is 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available. Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
NCCT-TS-C (Tech in Surgery-Certified) or AST-CST (Certified Surgical Tech).
A non-certified tech may be considered if they have completed a surgical technology program or have at least one year of scrub experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining the sterile field under supervision.
Demonstrate understanding of procedures and support the surgical team’s needs.
Check supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
Scrub, gown, and glove appropriately.
Set up sterile tables with instruments and supplies under guidance.
Perform instrument and sponge counts with the circulator.
Pass instruments during surgery.
Help clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
Support terminal room cleaning and prepare rooms for the next procedure.
May retrieve and transport medications; preparation and administration are not included.
