About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities. The incumbent of this position will contribute to a positive patient experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering confidence in the care provided. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- BLS required.
- IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year in sterile processing.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for activities including, but not limited to decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation
- Responsible for various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials
- Works in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
