About The Position
Physicians Surgery Center is a leading ambulatory surgery center committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and cost-effective setting. We specialize in same-day outpatient procedures, partnering with area clinics to provide a more convenient and affordable alternative to hospital-based surgeries. Our board-certified physicians use state-of-the-art equipment and advanced techniques, supported by a skilled team of registered nurses and surgical technicians. We are licensed by the State of Tennessee, accredited by the American Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, and proudly serve as a member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Experience with all types of sterilizers
- Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
