About The Position

Harbor Behavioral Health is seeking Certified Social Workers to provide shift-based travel coverage for its Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The role is intended for CSWs who live in or near Lexington, Louisville, or Northern Kentucky. Candidates choose among the coverage shifts offered, and shifts are agreed upon in writing before they begin. Each shift begins with a morning team meeting. The CSW leads the day's group and completes the documentation the same day; a Peer Support Specialist usually works alongside the CSW and begins the notes, and an LCSW co-signs the completed notes. Over time and under supervision, the CSW also completes assessments and treatment plans for clients in their groups. A Board-approved LCSW provides the required Board supervision, with the supervision contract submitted for approval before the CSW starts. The stated average approval time is about three weeks, and the start is the week approval is granted. The position pays $50 per hour for every hour of the Hopkinsville shift, including drive time. Mileage and a place to stay are paid in addition. There is no on-call duty or productivity quota. Employment is contingent on completing Harbor Behavioral Health's pre-employment requirements, including background, registry, and federal exclusion checks; drug and health screenings; license and education verification; and reference checks.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
Active Kentucky Certified Social Worker (CSW) license, maintained in good standing throughout employment.
Have a Board-approved supervision contract with one of the organization's Board-approved LCSWs before starting.
Willingness to travel to the Hopkinsville program.
Intermediate to proficient ability to use AI tools in daily work, such as drafting, organizing, summarizing, and streamlining workflows.
Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Successful completion of pre-employment background, registry, and federal exclusion checks; drug and health screenings; license and education verification; and reference checks.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with adults with serious mental illness.
Familiarity with Kentucky Medicaid documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Attend the morning team meeting at the start of each shift.
Lead the day's therapeutic group for clients in the program.
