About The Position

AMIkids Acadiana is actively hiring for a Certified Teacher with Social Studies or Science endorsement/certification. This role involves providing professional instruction and teaching to a diverse population of youth, including hands-on learning experiences, project-based learning activities, and cooperative learning opportunities in a low-student-teacher ratio setting. AMIkids has served over 160,000 kids and their families since 1969, aiming to help youth realize their full potential and become valuable members of their community.

Requirements

• Certification in the state of Louisiana and in Social Studies/Science.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (preferred, but degrees in other fields with agreements to earn in field of study are welcome).
