About The Position

Next Gen Software Solutions is seeking an experienced Certified Scrum Master with a strong product development background in Banking and Financial Services. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile delivery and sprint execution, remove impediments, and work with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality banking products. The role is onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina, five days per week, and is a long-term W2 contract.

Requirements

• Scrum Master certification, such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of overall experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting product engineering teams.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks, the product development lifecycle, and the Banking and Financial Services domain.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Stakeholder management, Agile metrics and reporting, and risk and dependency management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Banking, Payments, Lending, Risk, Wealth Management, or Financial Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and align deliverables with business objectives.
• Drive Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and team maturity.
• Monitor sprint progress, velocity, release planning, and delivery commitments.
• Remove impediments and proactively manage risks that may affect project delivery.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Track Agile metrics and provide delivery status reports to leadership.
• Support product development initiatives in Banking and Financial Services environments.
