About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. This on-site role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master capacity, with a CSM certification being preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience executing the Discovery process as a Scrum Master, working in an on-site/offshore model, and within the Banking/Financial Domain. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating all scrum events, ensuring the Discovery Team delivers stories and designs within timeline dates, and encouraging self-organization within the team. Coaching team members and creating continuous improvement initiatives from retrospectives are key aspects of this position. This role involves partnering with Product Owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate status and escalate risks, as well as collaborating with Business Architects, Product Owner, UX Designers, and Tech/Engineering Leads to drive discovery scope and planning. The Scrum Master will also act as an ambassador for the project and the primary contact for queries related to the Discovery phase.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Experience as a Scrum Master
• Needs to work out on Minneapolis, MN office (on premise)
• Experience in executing Discovery process as a Scrum
• Experienced working in an onsite offshore model
• Experienced working in Banking/Financial Domain
• Good Communication skills
• Extensive experience of working in JIRA
• Understanding of Agile, working with different teams, status reporting and run multivendor/employee scrum team

Nice To Haves

• CSM certification preferred
• Experience in Roadmap plugin feature is preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitates all scrum events
• Ensure the Discovery Team delivers stories and designs within timeline dates
• Encourage & enable self-organization within the Discovery Team
• Coach the Discovery team members, as and when needed
• Creating continuous improvement initiatives as an outcome from retro
• Partners with Product Owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate status of the deliverables and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
• Collaborate with Business Architects, Product Owner, UX Designers and Tech / Engineering Leads to drive the discovery scope and planning conversations
• Act as an ambassador for the project internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the Discovery phase
