About The Position

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), identified in the responsibilities as RCP I, performs respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures ordered by a physician under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager. Requirements

Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire, maintained as current.
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained as current, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Two years of acute care experience preferred.
