About The Position

Provides respiratory care using critical thinking skills developed through education and experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Demonstrates these skills by successfully completing examinations administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and earning the CRT credential. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current state license.
• CRT credential.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Basic computer knowledge using the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation.

Nice To Haves

• One year of hospital experience.
• ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient.

• Administers medications as prescribed.
