Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist
About The Position
West Georgia Anesthesia Associates, a hospital-employed group, is recruiting a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The role is based at either Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton or Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica. The position covers regional anesthesia, obstetrics, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, pediatrics, spinal, orthopedic, gastroenterology, vascular, oral plastics, and general cases. The schedule is a 12-hour/8-hour combination totaling 80 hours biweekly: six 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) and one 8-hour shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) per pay period. One week includes three 12-hour shifts; the alternate week includes three 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift. There are no call or weekend requirements. The position requires working one holiday shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program.
- Active Georgia APRN license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for regional, obstetric, pediatric, spinal, orthopedic, gastroenterology, vascular, oral plastics, and general cases.
- Work the specified 12-hour and 8-hour shift schedule.
- Work one holiday shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
