About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Dayton, OH. The role involves providing anesthesia care for neonatal and pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The position is inpatient, clinical only, and ongoing starting ASAP. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, with options for 8 or 10-hour shifts (0700-1530 or 0700-1730). This coverage is due to expansion. Please note that travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are not covered for this role. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with specialty backup in Pediatric Anesthesiology and available support staff including Physicians, Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and Nursing staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia (NBCRNA)
• Active Ohio License or willingness to obtain
• CRNA certification
• NBCRNA certification
• AANA certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• BSN
• Graduation from an accredited AANA program
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and formulate anesthesia plans.
• Administer anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Collaborate with pediatric anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
• Provide advanced clinical expertise and critical thinking in patient care.
