About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing clinical anesthesia services for adult, geriatric, and patients aged 16 and older. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for various procedures including general anesthesia, sedation, and monitoring for surgical, endoscopic, and cardiac procedures. The position is based at a Level 2 Trauma facility utilizing the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board certified by NBCRNA
- Active NY State License
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients in main operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center.
- Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients during and after anesthesia, adjusting as needed.
- Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.
