About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in York, PA. This role is based in a hospital setting and involves clinical coverage only. The CRNA will provide anesthesia care under a medically directed model, with a maximum ratio of 1:4. The position requires the ability to administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including trauma, neuro, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics. A key responsibility includes performing epidurals independently without physician presence. The CRNA will utilize various anesthesia techniques such as GETA, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound techniques, and will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Active PA license or compact
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Board Certified)
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under a medically directed model (1:3, max 1:4)
• Administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures including trauma, neuro, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics
• Perform epidurals independently without physician presence
• Utilize GETA, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound techniques
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians to deliver patient-centered care
