Children's Mercy is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team at the Kansas location. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance, premium pay for extra hours, and opportunities for extra shift work. The anesthesia care team provides services at multiple locations, offering a high level of acuity, coverage of all specialties, and encouraging autonomy and growth. This specific position will provide coverage at the Kansas location only, with 10-hour shifts and no weekday or weekend overnight call. The anesthesia care team includes physicians, anesthetists, residents, and fellows. Anesthetists serve as paid preceptors to rotating anesthesia students and can participate in department and hospital-wide committees. The perioperative team fosters an environment of inclusion, support, and encouragement. Children's Mercy is committed to creating a diverse workplace that reflects the community and its core values: kindness, curiosity, inclusion, team, and integrity. The organization also emphasizes transparency regarding employment conditions, including mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination and willingness to be vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), chickenpox (varicella), and tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap), with provisions for medical and religious exemptions.
