About The Position

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides comprehensive anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum, including preoperative assessment, anesthesia administration, intraoperative monitoring, airway management, and post-anesthesia recovery care. Working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing teams, and perioperative staff, the CRNA helps ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
  • Current unrestricted CRNA license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • Board certification or board eligibility through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years of CRNA experience, including recent clinical practice within the last 18 months
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to meet credentialing, background screening, and regulatory compliance requirements, including eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (MRPT)
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required, along with a valid U.S. passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity
  • Ability to relocate internationally for the duration of the assignment and meet pre-deployment physical requirements, including prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Previous experience in military, government, or international healthcare environments
  • Experience working in high-acuity surgical or procedural care settings

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, review diagnostic findings, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Administer and manage general, regional, and local anesthesia while monitoring patient stability throughout surgical procedures
  • Provide airway management, pain control, intraoperative support, and post-anesthesia recovery care
  • Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to support efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain anesthesia equipment, clinical documentation, and compliance with organizational and patient safety standards
