Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
About The Position
This is a locum position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia administration across various surgical specialties. The contract is for an initial 3-month period starting in late September, with a possibility of extension. The work environment includes both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. The role primarily involves adult patients, with no cardiac or pediatric cases anticipated. While OB experience is not mandatory, it is highly preferred. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. The credentialing process is estimated to take approximately 60 days.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a CRNA
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - exceptions may be made
- Ability to commit to 1-2 weekends per month
- Flexibility in scheduling
Nice To Haves
- OB experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia administration across various specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Head and Neck, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Obstetrics.
- Primarily administer anesthesia to adult patients.
- Administer anesthesia for obstetric cases.
