About The Position
Aurora Medical Center Summit is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative anesthesia team serving patients in Oconomowoc and the surrounding southeastern Wisconsin region. This position highlights a $100,000 Sign-On Bonus, a competitive compensation range of $121-$159/hour, and a 5 x 8-hour shift schedule with no call, weekends, or holiday coverage required. The role involves rotation through two ambulatory surgery center locations, utilizing an ACT Practice Model. Guaranteed additional shift opportunities with premiums of +$75-$100/hour above base rate are available. The position offers 30 days of PTO with additional accrual based on years of service, 40 CME hours annually, and a $2,250 CME allowance.
Requirements
- Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice
- Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA)
- Active DEA registration prior to hire
- Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency, and excellent decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective member of a health care team.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology and proficiency with the electronic medical record.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with and establish/build relationships with others.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Administer anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings.
- Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams, and procedural staff.
- Participate in post-anesthesia evaluations and patient recovery planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
