About The Position
We are seeking a dependable, highly organized Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our busy Allergy & Immunology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented medical professional who enjoys patient care and works well in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Current CMA or RMA certification required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent attention to detail, particularly with medication and injection dosing
- Calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a medical office, specialty clinic, or allergy/immunology setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume skin prick and intradermal allergy testing
- Administer allergy immunotherapy injections according to established dosing schedules
- Monitor patients following injections and promptly recognize signs of systemic or anaphylactic reactions
- Room patients efficiently and maintain smooth clinical flow
- Perform spirometry and assist with food and medication challenges
- Educate patients on EpiPen use, allergen avoidance, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation, medication records, and patient testing information
- Follow all clinical, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols
