About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join their team in Shenandoah, TX. This role focuses on treating infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. The Clinician will act as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. This is a unique opportunity to work in a niche, pediatric clinical outpatient setting, distinct from traditional orthotics and prosthetics.

Requirements

Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists only
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Must be able to complete AHCA screening if hired in Florida (though this position is in TX, this is a general company requirement mentioned).

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience a plus
Background in pediatrics is preferred, but not necessary as we have a formal training program that includes mentoring.
PTs and OTs are an excellent fit with their background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development.
Registered Nurses are a great fit with their experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families as well as their capability to treat the whole patient.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists & Certified Orthotists are also a strong fit because of their hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
Provide direct patient care.
