About The Position

Expectations: Safely obtains blood samples by venipuncture or capillary collection from clients of all ages. Works to support the general operation of the assigned section/shift. This position may require flexibility of hours.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• One-year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages or active participation and successful completion of a Huntington Health approved phlebotomy internship and training program required.
• Required: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent customer service.
