About The Position

Performs tasks within the department which directly support the ongoing duties and responsibilities of the pharmacist(s). Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of medications while under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triages calls to the appropriate person if he/she cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes, as guided by corporate initiatives, regarding inventory control. Allied health is among the fastest growing occupations in healthcare today. Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through either PTCB or NHA in order to be considered.
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience Level : 1 year
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
  • LIC-Pharmacy Technician - Tennessee

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
