This is a part-time casual (as needed) position in the retail pharmacy that will have floating shifts at various hospitals. The pharmacies are open M-F, no weekends. The furthest location is Mansfield. Mileage reimbursement is eligible. The role involves interpreting, obtaining, preparing/compounding, labeling, and distributing pharmacy products for patient use, considering patient age and other relevant information. Depending on the department, this may include preparing IV medications, processing refill requests for non-monitored medications, and documenting medication distribution for proper use and reimbursement. The position is involved in production, packaging, record keeping, and stocking tasks. The role requires working knowledge and skills to perform defined analytical/scientific or operational processes, applying experience to complete assigned work within the area of expertise, and working within standard operating procedures. It requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities and understanding how the team integrates with others. The Certified Pharmacy Technician has no supervisory responsibilities and manages their own workload, solving typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established procedures. The role impacts the quality of own work and the team, and communicates moderately complex technical information within the team.
