About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Certified Pharmacy Technician II, working the first shift, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation. The role requires a minimum registration as a pharmacy technician through the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Preferred qualifications include current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and registration as a "State Certified Pharmacy Technician" in good standing with the SC Board of Pharmacy. This preferred status requires graduation from an approved Pharmacy Technician program and submission of documentation for required work experience hours, or meeting grandfathered requirements by 2004. If hired as a registered technician without certification, certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment used in pharmaceutical preparation, repackaging, dispensing, and distribution are necessary.

Requirements

Registered as a pharmacy technician through the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Basic typing skills.
Working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Nice To Haves
