About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Certified Pharmacy Technician II working the first shift, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation. The role requires basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment used in pharmaceutical preparation, repackaging, dispensing, and distribution.
Requirements
- Must be at minimum registered as a pharmacy technician through the South Carolina Board of pharmacy.
- Must have basic typing skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Nice To Haves
- Currently certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Registered in good standing as a "State Certified Pharmacy Technician" with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
- Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program.
- Submitted documentation for required work experience hours as a pharmacy technician or met requirements to be grandfathered in by 2004.
- Obtain certifications within 6 months of hire if currently registered but not yet certified.
