Certified Pharmacy Technician II
About The Position
The Certified Pharmacy Technician II works from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification and registration in good standing as a State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. State certification requires graduation from an approved Pharmacy Technician program and documentation of the required pharmacy technician work experience hours, or qualification for grandfathered status by 2004. The technician needs basic typing skills and working knowledge of computers and equipment used to prepare, repackage, dispense, and distribute pharmaceutical products.
Requirements
- Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Registration in good standing as a State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
- Graduation from an approved Pharmacy Technician program and documentation of the required pharmacy technician work experience hours, or meeting requirements for grandfathered status by 2004.
