Certified Personal Coach - Castleton

About The Position

GOLFTEC is hiring a Certified Personal Coach at its Castleton location. The coach joins a community of golf professionals delivering GOLFTEC’s mission to help people play better golf. Coaches complete GOLFTEC University (GTU), a comprehensive training program combining on-the-job training at a GOLFTEC Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver Metro Area. The role uses golf instruction technology to help students improve through customized lesson plans and services for golfers of varying skill levels. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonuses, and other performance-based components. Estimated total compensation is $50,000–$60,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid upon completion of GOLFTEC University.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics.
Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA.
Graduation from a PGM program.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf-industry technology to help people improve their golf game.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT club fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside the training bays.
Use GOLFTEC proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
Uphold GOLFTEC’s core values of Fun, Integrity, Improvement, and Team.
