About The Position

Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc., a leader in supporting individuals with mental illness challenges, has openings for part-time and full-time Certified Peer Specialists. The Certified Peer Specialist is a self-identified recipient of Mental Health services. The Certified Peer Specialist is trained to offer support and assistance to peers diagnosed with severe mental illness. The Certified Peer Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers in regaining control over their own lives, their recovery process, and the community integration process.

Requirements

  • Completed the Certified Peer Specialist Training and proof of Certified Peer Specialist Certification.
  • 12 months' work or volunteer experience within the last 3 years or have 24 credit hours of post-secondary education.
  • Computer knowledge is a must.
  • Pre-employment Drug Screen.
  • PA Criminal History Clearance.
  • FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years).

Responsibilities
