Resources for Human Development PIER is seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Peer Specialists who are looking for more than a paycheck. The Certified Peer Specialist will deliver peer support services, including education, advocacy, and fostering engagement in the treatment process. They will also provide recovery support education, support person-centered interventions, facilitate group therapy sessions, and assist individuals with independent living preparation. Administrative duties include completing required documentation. The role also requires maintaining one's own physical, mental, and emotional well-being and performing other assigned tasks.
