Peer Support Specialists perform a wide range of tasks to support clients in living their own lives and directing their own recovery and wellness process. Under supervision, a Peer Specialist empowers clients to explore new options, resources, feelings, relationships and supports individuals by providing hope, encouragement, support, self-determination, and connections to the community. The Peer Support Specialist acts as an advocate for the rights and needs of clients served. CPS provide mobile services in the community throughout Chester and Montgomery County.
