Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) supports the delivery of comprehensive eye care in an outpatient clinic and/or procedural setting. This role combines hands-on patient care, diagnostic testing, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities to help ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
