About The Position

We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our outpatient orthopedic team with a focus on hand therapy. In this role, you will treat a variety of upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. You will collaborate closely with our Certified Hand Therapist, ensuring you have the guidance and resources needed to succeed. New Graduates Welcome to Apply! Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
• State COTA license (or license eligible)
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies.
• Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.
