About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Fargo. This is a Per Diem (PRN) position. Vibra Hospital of Fargo is a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital in Fargo, ND, offering acute care services for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital specializes in medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication.
