About The Position
We have a wonderful opportunity for a COTA to work with one of our schools for the 26-27 school year. This is a flexible position that works out great for any COTAs who are looking for regular work during school hours. It is great pay, a great school, and a great company to work for! You will be hired as an independent contractor, which offers no benefits but a higher hourly pay rate!
Requirements
- Be certified and licensed in Utah as a COTA by August 2026
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet school needs
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with administration, students, faculty
- Executing high quality, appropriate and engaging therapeutic tx as per IEP and student needs
Nice To Haves
- Experience in schools is preferred but training can be offered for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
- Work with students with a variety of disabilities/diagnoses
- Collaborate with and keep supervising OT informed of student progress and needs
- Build strong relationships with school personnel
- Be independent in tx students under direction of OT
- Direct, weekly services are provided by COTAs during school hours typically 8 am to 3:30 pm.
- Work around the school schedule and have all weekends, school observed holidays and summers off.
