About The Position
Aspire Home Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide effective, individualized therapy services to patients in their homes. The role involves helping patients regain independence through therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment training, and home environment assessments, all under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Requirements
- Active COTA license in OH
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- Recent physical exam (within past 12 months)
- Current TB test (within 12 months) and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Must attend a 2-day orientation at our Dublin office
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled patient care using approved treatment techniques
- Follow therapy goals and individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient care and daily treatment notes
- Assist patients and families with home programs and adaptive equipment
- Evaluate and adjust treatments as needed to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Submit all documentation and visit records in a timely manner
