About The Position

PYG Therapy is hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join their growing pediatric home health team throughout Arizona. The role is for individuals passionate about helping children build independence and functional skills, offering flexibility, manageable expectations, and strong clinical support. PYG Therapy provides support and resources for both experienced and new pediatric home health professionals. Requirements

Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license (OT, OTR, OTD, OTR/L, or MSOT) (for OT)
Active Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) license (for COTA)
Current CPR certification
AHCCCS ID (for OT)
Article 9 certification
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities (for OT)
Excellent communication and organizational skills (for OT)
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (for COTA)
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills (for COTA)

Responsibilities

Deliver occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in their homes.
Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Educate caregivers and family members on techniques and strategies that support progress between visits.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
Provide updates regarding patient progress, goals, and treatment recommendations.
Participate in care planning and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), if applicable.
Provide occupational therapy treatment services to pediatric patients in the home environment.
Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic activities established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Document treatment sessions, patient participation, and progress toward goals.
Support children in developing functional skills that promote independence and participation in daily activities.
Educate caregivers on home strategies and activities that reinforce therapeutic progress.
Communicate regularly with supervising therapists regarding patient performance, concerns, and treatment recommendations.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with children, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
