About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an 8-week travel assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Las Animas, CO. This contract is renewable at the facility's discretion, offering potential for extension for the right clinician. The COTA will work under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver treatment plans to a geriatric and post-acute population. Key responsibilities include ADL retraining, functional mobility, adaptive equipment training, and restorative programming.
Requirements
- Active Colorado COTA license (or NBCOT certification with Colorado license in process).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to commit to the full 8-week term.
Nice To Haves
- Prior SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment plans to a geriatric and post-acute population.
