About The Position
Independence Rehab is actively seeking a compassionate, motivated Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Twin Falls Transitional Care Center in Twin Falls. At Independence Rehab, we are passionate about helping people stay independent in the later chapters of life. We partner closely with skilled nursing facilities to provide patient-centered therapy services focused on functional outcomes, quality of life, and safe transitions to the next level of care. We are a therapist-friendly, people-first organization that believes in leading with integrity, empowering people, and delivering outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Idaho COTA license
- Compassion for the geriatric population
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred, but not required
- At least one year of SNF experience
Responsibilities
- Treating a medically complex geriatric population
- Functional mobility and transfer training
- Adaptive ADL retraining
- Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams
