About The Position

The Pines at Placerville is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for both experienced clinicians and recent graduates. The position involves providing direct resident treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help residents improve independence with daily living activities and functional mobility. Responsibilities include maintaining timely documentation, assisting with restorative nursing programs, collaborating with various healthcare professionals, participating in care conferences, and educating residents and caregivers. The role also involves recommending adaptive equipment and maintaining a safe treatment environment while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program
  • Current California COTA License in good standing
  • CPR Certification if required by licensure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • New grads are encouraged to apply!

  • Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
