About The Position

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their rehabilitation department. The role involves helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Requirements

  • Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License — or eligible to apply
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for improving the lives of others

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with Net Health or PointClickCare is helpful
  • New graduates encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care
  • Educate residents and families while building meaningful relationships
  • Bring compassion, positivity, and energy to work every day
