About The Position
Pine Creek Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation department. This role involves helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life through occupational therapy treatments. The position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys hands-on patient care, teamwork, and working in a positive skilled nursing environment. Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License — or eligible to apply
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for improving the lives of others
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Net Health or PointClickCare is helpful
- New graduates encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care
- Educate residents and families while building meaningful relationships
- Bring compassion, positivity, and energy to work every day
