About The Position

The Center at Northridge is seeking a temporary Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for its skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This is a temporary, full-time position for 13-16 weeks. The COTA will work with a dynamic therapy team providing sub-acute inpatient therapy to individuals with various medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and complex medical conditions. The Center aims to provide top-quality nursing and rehabilitation services, and seeks a motivated COTA who shares these goals to assist the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant therapy program
  • Current state licensure
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • CPR Certification

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct therapy services in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral and under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Center at Northridge standards.
