About The Position

We are looking for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who genuinely care about treating residents with respect and dignity, as well as supporting their team members. This role involves conducting general activity programs and supportive or maintenance programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR). The COTA will communicate with other personnel regarding the patient's total treatment program, especially to the OTR who will make necessary alterations to the treatment program. The COTA is responsible for maintaining accurate records of treatments and all appropriate paperwork, co-signed by the supervising OTR.

Requirements

Hold current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
Hold a permanent or be eligible to apply for a COTA license to practice in the state (as applicable) through the Board of Medical Examiners.
Possess comprehensible verbal communication skills continuously.
Possess legible written communication skills continuously.
Have visual acuity corrected to 20/20.
Possess fine hand manipulation, bilaterally frequently.
Possess heavy grasp, bilaterally frequently.

Nice To Haves

Strong recommendation of membership to the American Occupational Therapy Association and State organizations.

Responsibilities
