About The Position

Pine Crest Health and Memory Care is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their Therapy team. The COTA will assist the Occupational Therapist in providing rehabilitative therapy to patients. This includes helping patients recover, improve function, and return to their prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will be required to justify continued or discontinued services.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• One year’s experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist by providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon completion of the evaluation and plan of care.
• Follow all regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Facilitate patient recovery, improvement in function, and return to a prior level of functioning.
• Provide clinical documentation describing objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
