About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Wheeling, West Virginia. The role supports patient-centered rehabilitation by carrying out treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist and helping patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks. The assistant supports therapeutic activities, monitors patient progress, and fosters an engaging environment for therapy participation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients’ participation in therapy.
